Five Beaches
Sunday 5 May 2019
13.00 and 15.00
Five Beaches is a stark play about the D-Day landings, performed and produced by an all-male ensemble from Bay House School, Gosport. Originally written to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the play depicts crossing the channel and the run-in to each of the beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. With a running time of 30 minutes, Five Beaches is a powerful, raw and challenging play based around veterans’ own words.
Performances will be held in the Briefing Room. Museum admission required to watch the performances.
