Audio Guide

Take an audio tour of The D-Day Story using your own mobile device as a guide. Simply follow the markers around the museum for instructions on when to play each piece.

Alternatively, this audio guide is also available on handsets which can be borrowed on the day of your visit to The D-Day Story (subject to availability, no reservation necessary). These are included in the usual ticket price.

The tour comprises 24 main audio tracks, alongside an additional 23 supplementary ones, which you can listen to if you want to discover more about each subject. These additional tracks are colour coded in displays around the museum, and named as such below.

This audio guide covers all the displays in our museum building. It does not include LCT 7074 since the majority of the displays there already include sound.

Out of consideration for other visitors, please use headphones or hold your phone up to your ear, rather than using the loudspeaker.
